Kinetiq ("we," "us") is a fitness training and nutrition tracking app. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account info: your email address and display name, used to sign you in and identify your account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only what Apple shares (your name/email, or a private relay address if you choose to hide it).
Fitness data you enter: workouts, sets/reps/weights, personal records, body measurements, nutrition goals, food log entries, favorite foods, and water intake — everything you log while using the app.
Device-local security settings: if you set an app PIN or enable Face ID/Touch ID lock, that lives only on your device (in local storage, or via Apple's LocalAuthentication framework in the iOS app) — it is never sent to our servers and we never see it.

What we don't do

No ad tracking, no ad networks, no selling data to third parties. Kinetiq has no ads.
No access to your contacts or location.
The iOS app requests camera permission for an upcoming real-time exercise form-feedback feature — as of this writing that feature isn't active yet, and no camera data is captured, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Who we share it with

Your data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and served via GitHub Pages (hosting). Food search queries are proxied through a Cloudflare Worker to the USDA FoodData Central API to look up nutrition info — no personal or account information is included in those queries. None of these providers use your data for anything other than running Kinetiq.

Notifications

The iOS app can show a local notification when your rest timer finishes. This happens entirely on your device — no notification content is generated by or sent through our servers.

Your choices

You can export your workout history, PRs, measurements, and nutrition data as a CSV at any time from within the app. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself, at any time, from the 🔒 button in the app header → Delete My Account. This is immediate and irreversible — we don't keep a copy afterward.
